   October 29th - ANNUAL CHRISTMAS FAIR at the Charter Hall 

11.00am - 4.00pm


Smarden W.I. will be busy at the annual Christmas Fair where they will be serving teas, cakes and savouries 

as well as selling jams, jellies and chutneys, all made by W.I. members.  

There will also be some hand made crafts with a Christmas theme.  


The event is at Smarden Charter hall on Saturday October 29th between 11.00 and 4.00.

Our Presidents - Past and Present


A wonderful service at the Zion Chapel on 19th January 2019 followed by a tea party afterwards at
The Smarden Charter Hall 
for the WI and our special guests

Jean Ridley, our longest serving member cuts the Centenary Cake



Opening their doors to all, Ian Lovett addressed an audience of 80, who were spellbound by his Open Meeting presentation. Ian is the President of the England & Wales Cricket Board. His talk was entitled 'Lords and Ladies'. It was greatly appreciated.

 



Smarden WI members planted 300 daffodil bulbs in three locations around the Charter Hall last Autumn to further acknowledge their 100th Birthday.

The bulbs were sponsored by de Jägers of Ulcombe.
